Some makeup brands have a real cult following among our expert makeup tutors and makeup artistry students. Make Up For Ever is one of those brands.
As much as the students on our makeup short courses love the brand, getting hold of their products has always been tricky in the UK. Aside from stocking up on trips to America, or paying over the odds in specialist import stores, our students and artists haven’t been able to include the brand’s excellent selection in their makeup bags. But now Make Up For Ever is back in the UK and we couldn’t be more excited.
Founded in 1984 by professional makeup artist and teacher Dany Sanz, their range is tailored to professional use. Dany uses her years of experience in teaching makeup artistry and creating looks for clients to build an indispensable makeup range.

LSM Favourites: 1-HD Foundation, 2-HD Powder, 3-Professional Camouflage Palette Nr.5, 4-Aqua Colour
Dany’s background was originally in painting and sculpture, having studied at the Ecole des Beaux-arts in Paris, but soon she realised the potential of makeup to create “paintings in motion” on human skin. With the success of her makeup range, Dany founded a makeup school to pass on her expertise. Dany says: “Above all I am a teacher – every day is an opportunity for me to pass on my passion for my craft.”
Perhaps that is why Make Up For Ever’s ethos resonates so well with our makeup teachers and students. Because Make Up For Ever is a brand that supports the development of new makeup artists and produces the tools that allow them to push the boundaries of Makeup Art.
