We offer part-time courses that are available through the week and on Saturdays to suit your needs. Our Foundation courses are catered to entry level makeup artists to give you the fundamental overview and skills of the makeup industry.

Along with Creative courses and Photographic Media Makeup Courses, we pride ourselves on giving students a great environment to learn and excel in. 2 Day IMA Foundation Make-up Course

This make-up course provides basic training in professional make-up skills covering day, evening, bridal and ‘special occasion’ level and leads to industry recognised qualifications.

9 Week IMA Foundation Make-up Course

This course takes place over nine Thursday evenings and includes all the basic skills in professional make-up artistry. It covers day, evening, special occasion and bridal looks.

3 Day Bridal Make-up Course

Our 3 day Foundation & bridal Course includes two days of intensive hands on make-up training, providing basic training in professional makeup skills and artistry.

10 Week IMA Foundation Make-up Course

This course takes place over ten Saturdays and includes all the basic skills in professional makeup artistry. It covers day, evening, special occasion and bridal looks plus all the technics required.

2 Day Asian Bridal Make-up Course

By popular demand, we have added to our renowned courses Asian Bridal Make-up. This two-day course will be taught by talented up and coming artist Gavin Pickle.

5 Day Combined IMA Foundation Course

Combining 2 intensive days of professional Day &Evening make-up skills followed by a day of European bridal make-up technics and two days of Asian bridal training.

Beginners who wish to learn all the basic skills in professional makeup artistry, or those who wish to refresh or update their present skills for retail. It covers day, evening and special occasion looks plus all the techniques required to achieve this end. You will be working in a professional makeup studio and taught by a working make-up artist. Our course is balanced between demonstrations and hands-on practical lessons. No previous experience is necessary.

Following on from training on any of our part time courses, students will complete a home study program using the course notes provided and complete a portfolio of evidence. The portfolio includes a practical and written assignment, plus a number of makeup looks to complete on family and friends.

You will be asked to come back for one day after you have completed your portfolio work to take a practical exam and multiple choice theory paper. Only once you have completed the home study programme can you come back to take practical examination.

At the completion of the programme, you will receive an industry recognised qualification from the IMA (International Makeup Association).
